Allez Hop!.....

They used very often floating bags to set up the guidés for the first person. That works good for the light Asiansantilolo a écrit :Impressionant Le mec qui est allé posé les guidés à du sacrement se faire brasser en passant en premier!

I wrote to the team leader of this trip and asked the same question:giputxi a écrit :I wonder how they did for the autonomy drill for ten days I imagine they would carry a lot of batterys for the drill. It seems impossible to do naturals in this canyon.
- They did in advanced an exploration from the bottom (which was the first kind of canyoning in the Asian countries) so it was partially already equipped, although I think only a very small section.
- They bring one drill with 3 batteries so they are able to drill +/- 80-100 bolts.
- They used three different kind of bolts:
8mm x 35mm for intermediate belay and traverse
8mm x 45mm for guided rappelling
8mm x 55mm or 8mm x 75mm screw bolts which are removable
They bring also some pitons and cams.
All equipment was very minimalistic, I don't know if I would hang on an 8mm x 35mm bolt
Allez Hop!.....

Joli!!
It seems to be about 18km, part of it being walking. I'd like to know the whole story, such as why did it take 13 days and so on!
Cool
