New playground opened for the canyoning community
Yesterday Timo Stammwitz and me opened the Valtürtobel at Trimmis close to Landquart.

Easy canyoning with an amazing finish.
It is a bit a pity, that there are no jumps but at least five slides.
The masterpiece is at the final. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever done.
116m final cascade to abseil in two steps 36m and 80m.
The waterfall splits up in two separate cascades and the abseiling is just in between of them --> Amazing and very impressive especially now with the high water during the snow melting period (500l-600l/sec)

Thank you very much. You are a good and speed teacher I believed sens of "rappel" was "rapp".

We might drill another canyon this Sunday which looks really good.
But we need some more drilling power for the 700Hm.
If anyone is interested and equipped with a powerful drill, just let me know.

You live near Liechtenstein. There is Hilti. It will do you a good price. I joke Good luck to find a drilling machine.

We have already two maschines. But the batteries will last for only about 40 bolts/holes.
So we need either more drilling maschines or more batteries

The choice is terrible . The batteries and drilling machines are both very expensive. But, the batteries are more light. Prefer the batteries

I recognize the stone of the landquart. It look like to mulitobel. The last water fall is very impressive. The first part is beautiful with the brown colors.

There are still a lot of canyons with too much water. Some have an incredible high water level of the snow melting, but some are already ok
Especially in the south is still a lot of snow in the mountain.
