New Opening next to Parlitobel.
We equipped a very nice new Canyon at the Gigerwaldstausee.
The Panäratobel offers very nice waterfalls and a perfect midsection with some great passages .

Access:
Hike up the path for 40min at the left riverside until you cross the canyon at 1810m. From there you can go even a bit further to 1860m or enter just from the bridge.
In total are there 32 abseils up to 48m. It is recommended to take 2 x 50m and 1 x 30m for the canyon.

we saw it on the way to Parlitobel last week, Timo was juste waiting for you to do the opening! Well, now, that's done!
It's even nicer than it look from the bridge!

we saw this canyon last year when we made Parlitobel with Toche and Eric but there was too much water in it ( July...)

Fair enough we didn't do it, despite our great desire at its sight

Yep, only the last two cascades are a bit crappy, but the section before is really good. Much better than expected.

Nous avons parcouru Panära, c’est un beau canyon.
Approche 1h jusqu’au pont à 1800m en partant depuis le barrage.

Nous n’avons pas fait la partie entre 1860m et 1800m car il y avait encore des névés dedans.

Dans l’ensemble c’est une très belle descente, le début est normale puis on arrive dans un partie très sculpté et étroite, ou les rappels sont plus techniques, enfin vers la route les 3 dernières cascades ne sont pas très intéressantes.

Canyon à tendance très verticale, on lache rarement la corde, le débit a augmenté durant notre descente et est devenu sportif dans la partie étroite !
