Canyoning Season iin Flores - Azores

Hi to everyone, I'm Marco and i created a company that i called Westcanyon.
So know is possible to do canyoning in Flores Island (Azores) with all the conditions, informations and safety...if you're thinking about you vacations, know you have a good option.

I have all the material necessary (if anyone wants, it's not necessary to bring yours) or go with the groups if necessary.
there are all kind of descents and some of them end at the sea, view the pictures in the link below and you will enjoy.

Besides the lot's of good canyoning's that you can do, there are another activities for you to do while you're in the island like, scuba diving, trekking, trips to Corvo Island.

and i can tell you that my instructor said that this Island is one of best places from Portugal to do canyoning and a good one when compared to Europe.

What is the best period to make some canyons in Flores ??

From April to the end of 2009, I'll work in Porto (Portugal) and, with some direct flights to Azores, I hope I'll come to make some canyons (and diving with whales of course).

generally you can do canyoning in Flores almost all the year, but the best period is betwen April añd September.
i can tell that you must not be able to dive with whales, but i'm sure that you can dive in some some places that you'll enjoy for sure, with a big diversitie of fishes...
