sur FB vu une photo d'une belle cascade à Jezzine au sud du Liban
et en cherchant un peu une structure locale propose une petite descente dans ce secteur .
Visiblement on évite un peu l'eau !

c'est du mini canyon :
Longueur du canyon : 700 m
Rappel : 1 rappel de 15 m / 1 rappel de 5 m et 1 rappel de 25 m ainsi que plusieurs petits ressauts
pas la peine d'envisager une expédition !
plus serieux il y a ca :
Baatara gorge waterfall
Baatara gorge waterfall (Balaa gorge waterfall) is a waterfall in the Tannourine, Lebanon.
The waterfall descends the Baatara Pothole, located on the Lebanon Mountain Trail. Discovered in 1952, the waterfall drops 255 m into a cave of jurassic limestone. The waterfall and accompanying sinkhole were fully mapped in the 1980s by the Speleo club du liban. The cave is also known as the “Cave of the Three Bridges.” During the spring snow melt, a 90-100 meter cascade falls behind the three bridges and then down into the 250 meter chasm. photo source
