The data @12/13.05 got more hits, so the event will be then.
We will be around 40 - ? canyoneers from several countries such as Switzerland, France, Italy, Poland, England, Belgium….
I’m very happy, that we are again so many people, so we can share and exchange our experiences.

I reserved as last year the Camping Al Censo.
The costs are 18CHF/night/person (all inclusive tax, tent, bus, electricity….)
It’s in everyone’s responsibility to do the registration (Canyoning Event Matthias Holzinger) at the reception as the owners of the camping can be sometimes a bit rough ?
The place is reserved from Friday evening on for those who would like to come earlier.
So far there is no program for the event except the big BBQ on Saturday night.

Besten Dank für eures zahlreiche Einschreiben an dem Canyoning Event „Meet & Greet“.
Es hat sich das zweite Datum, 12/13.05 durchgesetzt.

Wir werden ca. 40 Canyonisten aus verschiedenen Länder (Schweiz, Frankreich, Italien, Polen, England, Belgien…) sein.
Es freut mich extrem, dass wir wieder so international und so zahlreich sein werden.

Ich habe wieder wie letztes Jahr den Camping Al Censo reserviert.
Die Kosten sind 18CHF/Nacht (alles inklusive Taxen, Zelt, Bus, Strom…..)
Der Platz ist schon von Freitag Abend an reserviert für die die von Fr auf Sa schon dort übernachten wollen.
Es soll sich jeder an der Rezeption selber anmelden (Canyoning Event Matthias Holzinger) da die Campingbesitzer sonst unangenehm werden können ?.
Bisher gibt es noch kein Programm für den Event, ausser die grosse gemeinsame Grillade am Samstag Abend.

Das Canyoning Meeting im Tessin rückt immer näher.
Hier noch die letzten News und das provisorische Programm:

Samstag:
Treffpunkt Staumauer Val Ambra 9:00Uhr

Wir werden alle zusammen Val Ambra begehen. Dies ist ein schöner, aquatischer, spielerischer Canyon der gut mit vielen Leuten begangen werden kann.
So hat man auf der Strecke genügend Zeit sich mit vielen Leuten zu unterhalten und auszutauschen. Warme Ausrüstung dennoch empfohlen
Am Ende des Canyons wartet eine 30m Rutsche

Nach dem Canyon gibt es drei (vier) kurze technische Präsentationen (je 5 - 15min):
- Polnische TATRA Rettungskolonne
- Georgi Perren
- Holzi
- (Evan oder ?)

Anschliessend fahren wir zum Camping Al Censo in Claro und starten die Grillade und das gemütliche Zusammensein.
Wenn möglich Grillfleisch vorgängig einkaufen, da die Tankstellenshops wahrscheinlich nicht genügend Fleisch für alle haben.
Wer einen mobilen Grill hat, soll den doch mitbringen damit genügend Platz für alles Stakes vorhanden ist.
Während/nach der Grillade gibt es eine kurze Info von Fred über den Schweizer Canyoningverein „Amicale Canyon“.

Am Abend wird eine Liste verteilt, wo man sich für einen Canyon eintragen kann. Es wäre schön wenn sich die Gruppen gut durchmischen würden.
Momentan sind Wartungsarbeiten an folgenden Wasserfassungen: Nala, Pontirone, Boggera, (Val Malvaglia)
Deshalb müssen wir auf andere Canyons ausweichen und den Wasserstand (Schmelzwasser) berücksichtigen.
Aktueller Vorschlag:
- Riale di Censo (intermediate)
- Riale di Palme (intermediate)
- Cugnasco (intermediate)
- Val de Groven (advanced)

Für die welche schon am Freitag in Claro campieren:
Wieder den oberen Platz inklusive Tische reservieren, gleicher Platz wie letztes mal. Ich bin am Freitag Abend noch nicht im Al Censo.

Sonntag:
Morgenessen und Start um 8:00 – 10:00 für die jeweiligen Canyons.
Anschliessend individuelle Rückreise und hoffentlich schöne Erinnerungen an den Event.

Bitte eure Kollegen welche nicht auf dem Mail-Verteiler sind auch informieren

The canyoning meeting is getting closer.
Below are the latest news and the planned program for the event:

Saturday:
Meetingpoint watercapture Val Ambra 9:00am

We will do all together the canyon Val Ambra. It’s a very nice and aquatic canyon with lots of opportunities. It’s no problem to do this canyon as a big group.
There we will have enough time to have some good chats with other canyoneers during the descent/approach. Warm equipment recommended.
At the end of the tour is a 30m toboggan waiting for us

After the tour there will be four short presentations (each 5-15min):
- Tatra Rescue Team
- Georgi Perren
- Holzi
- (Evan or ?)

After that we drive to the Camping Al Censo in Claro and start the BBQ and the good old canyoning stories.
Please buy the BBQ meat already in advanced as the big shops close at 17:00. It would be good if somebody could bring an additional grill.
During/After the BBQ Fred will inform about the Swiss Canyoning Club “Amicale Canyon”
? + there will be a small surprise from Anna & Luca

During the Evening you can subscribe on a list for the canyon on Sunday. It would be cool if there is a good group mix.
At the moment there are maintenance work on several water captures: Nala, Pontirone, Boggera, (Val Malvaglia) are not possible.
That’s why we have to switch to other canyons in this area with an ok water level.

For those which already arrive on Friday in Claro:
Use the same place as last time and reserve as much tables as possible for the BBQ. I’m not in Claro on Friday night.

Breakfast and start at 8:00 – 10:00 for the individual canyons.
End oft he meeting Meet & Greet and hopefully a lot of good memories and photos of this event.
