I proudly announce the new edition of my book with new features, especially a lot of new and better photos. As in the first edition (of 2010) there are also French and English translations in the book. There are two parts: a guide-book of one of the best regions in Europe for canyoning - mostly unknown - and also (new) a manual for the fundamentals of our sport (beside equipment and technique), that is dangers, formation of flash-floods, handling of risk, fear-management and group-leading (this theoretical part only in German, it seemed too hard to translate). As far as I can see, most of these subjects are developped here for the first time. Every year some people die in canyons because they and their leaders don’t know some fundamentals of physics (hydrodynamics) and psychology. I think this is not necessary and could be avoided.
