Descent on a very high level. My calculation (2m wide x 20cm deep x 2m speed = 800l - 300l because of the uneven speed = 500l/sec), Pascal vD guessed 250l/sec.
The canyon has changed a lot since 2009. We had to drill 6 new anchors, due to the high water level and due to rock movement.
Some anchors were 5m high in the air and not reachable. The 55m waterfall has now two additional bolts further down, so you don’t have to pass the water in case of very high water flow.
The last C15 is now a E3+T5!
The narrow walking passage is filled with 2-5m of sand and rocks. It’s not more possible to walk below the big boulder, you have to climb over it.
Some difficult and very narrow! (20-35cm) passages at the very end.
Congratulation to Nadja for being the first woman?? doing this canyon especially under this extreme conditions.
